Federal Prescription Drug Take-Back Day details:
• Drop offs are anonymous.
• Accepted drugs are prescription and over-the-counter
medications. These drugs can be dropped in original
containers or baggies as they are not handled once dropped
off.
• Unacceptable items include: Intravenous solutions,
injectables, needles & sharps, oxygen containers. Mercury
(thermometers), chemotherapy/ radioactive substances,
pressurized canisters, or illicit drugs.
